ONE VCU Master Plan schedule

November 16, 2018

VCU continues to receive positive feedback about the ONE VCU Master Plan draft from the VCU and VCU Health communities, alumni and local neighbors. The draft plan, originally scheduled to go before VCU’s Board of Visitors for review in September, will now be presented to the Board in December for review and comment, with the final plan to be considered by the Board for full approval in March 2019. The Board of Visitors schedule was slightly altered this year due to severe weather in the fall. A March approval of the master plan is in line with VCU’s Spring 2019 capital request process to the Commonwealth of Virginia.

VCU continues to encourage participation in the master planning process and wants to hear from you. The ONE VCU Master Plan draft remains open for comments and questions. It is organized around six guiding principles to support new strategic plans for VCU and VCU Health. Alterations to the ONE VCU Master Plan may be made as a result of feedback and suggestions from the community. VCU is committed to providing an open, thoughtful, transparent and inclusive master planning process designed to engage students, faculty, staff, parents, neighbors and all community partners.
