Overview

Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) is embarking on an update to Academic Medical Center site plan within the ONE VCU Master Plan – with a focus on the health system, health sciences and research facilities on our Academic Medical Center Campus – in an effort to address the recent growth/achievements and goals outlined in the Quest 2028: One VCU Together we Transform strategic plan.

To guide this important work, VCU is partnering with Ayers Saint Gross, the interdisciplinary design firm that led the ONE VCU Master Plan, completed in 2019 – the first of many “One VCU” initiatives to align and support the strategic goals of both the university and the health system. It provided a shared, evidenced-based vision for development that continues to guide VCU’s physical investments.
