A new School of Dentistry Building will replace an outdated facility and “unlock” the MCV Campus, allowing for growth at the health system and other MCV Campus schools. In addition to supporting clinical productivity, the new building will allow the School of Dentistry to maximize care for underserved populations in the Richmond community in need of dental care. The building will provide modern clinic, classroom, and research space, much needed improvements for the complex needs of Dentistry’s academic, clinical, and research missions. The site and building will provide much improved patient and student experience. The project places a strong emphasis on mobility, safety, campus unification, synergy among programs, and celebrating VCU’s unique urban setting and rich history.
